Mountain View Baptist Church, located at 4266 River Road in Hickory, is accepting registrations for its 8th season of Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading.
Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading provides a positive sports experience for every child and makes the most of your family's time and money. We teach the fundamentals of flag football and cheerleading, while promoting teamwork and team spirit! In addition, we teach life lessons at each practice.
Practices are on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6-7pm -- you choose the night. Once you choose a night, each practice for your child will be the night you choose for the entire season. All games are on Saturday mornings.
Cost is $60 per child. Flag Football players get a jersey, flag belt, wrist band. Cheerleaders get a full uniform (skorts, cheer top), pom poms, megaphone, and hairbow). Every child also gets an end-of-season gift!

Then just come to evaluations on Aug 8th. All players and cheerleaders must attend.
Upcoming Dates:
- Saturday, August 8 – UPWARD COMBINE (Evaluations 9-11am) at the church field
- Thursday, August 20 – UPWARD DRAFT - parent orientation, team/squad assignments, and kids meet their coaches!
- Week of August 25/27 - Practices begin
- Saturday, September 12 - FIRST GAME
- Saturday, October 31 - FINAL GAME
- Saturday, November 7 - CELEBRATION PROGRAM
