To create this Mommy Masterpiece like my sweet sorority sister Erin did for her own little chickies, simply:
- Hard boil and peel a dozen eggs
- Cut in half once peeled and cooled.
- Scoop out the yolk centers into a bowl.
- Set aside the halved shells. Be careful-- they are delicate!
- Mix the yolk centers with your own super secret deviled egg recipe mixers.
- Fill the halved eggs with the deviled egg yolk mix.
- Overfill it a bit.
- Cap the egg with the other half as the topper.
- Cut black olive for eyes and carrot for the beak.
There you have it. You'll be the hit of the PTA with this one!
