Doc McStuffins School of Medicine ~ A Macaroni Preview

By Anna Hall, Hickory NC Publisher September 25, 2014
"Doc McStuffins helps my son not be afraid at the doctor's office.  He learns that the doctor makes you 'feel good.' The show stresses the importance of good health."

"Wholesome and imaginative!"

"Doc teaches my child to take care of her toys, to be kind and honest, to be there for your friends and other life lessons."

"Educational; the show is a great lesson in diversity."

Those are just some of the things parents are saying about Doc McStuffins, the popular star of Disney Junior's cartoon series that continues to be a big hit with kids ages 2-7.  The show features Doc, a little girl who can talk to and heal stuffed animals and toys out of her playhouse clinic, while encouraging good health, hygiene, compassion and nurturing.

In celebration of the new season of Doc McStuffins School of Medicine this fall, Macaroni Kid Hickory/Western Piedmont last week hosted a preview party to screen two never before seen episodes of the show.  Parents gave it 4.8 stars, calling overwhelmatosis "the best episode yet!"  The kids were glued to the screen and the show kept the attention of even the two year olds for the full 30 minutes air time.  My favorite part during the whole screening was when little two and half year old mini-Doc danced to one of the fun, upbeat songs in the episode! Check out our pics on Facebook.

Make an appointment for an all new check up! Watch Doc put all her skills to the test during the premiere of a new Doc McStuffins School of Medicine episode airing Friday September 26 at 9am/8c on Disney Junior on Disney Channel!

Disclosure: I received a DVD and payment for the purpose of the screening party and this review.  All opinions expressed herein are my own or those of the guests at our event.
