Catawba County Parenting Network’s Positive Discipline Class

Wednesdays, January 28th through February 25th

January 22, 2015

Do your child’s temper tantrums have you frustrated and wondering what to do next? Is time-out not working? You can find help with these and other parenting challenges at the Catawba County Parenting Network’s Positive Discipline class beginning Wednesday, January 28th.

In the class, parents will learn ways to increase their child’s cooperation, better understand their child’s “thinking” stage and temperament, and discover how to use discipline as a teaching tool. This five-session class series for parents of children ages three to ten is free, including childcare, for NC Pre-K parents.  For all other participants, class is $20 for all sessions with licensed childcare available for $10 for one child and $5 per additional child for all sessions.

Positive Discipline classes will be held on Wednesdays, January 28th through February 25th, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sweetwater Early Childhood Education Center. Advance registration is required. To register, please call the Catawba County Parenting Network at 828-465-8151 or register online at www.catawbaparenting.com.
