It will arrive in Hickory the weekend of March 13-15, 2015, when the 19th edition of the Carolina Home & Garden Show comes to the Hickory Metro Convention Center.  As usual, this year's show is packed with resources to help you whittle your "to do" or "honey do" list down to size.  From the smallest spring fix-up to a super sized home project, you'll find the info and encouragement you need, whether you're a home-improvement junkie or a home-improvement flunky.

Each day will bring a new attraction to the Home and Garden Show.  Find high impact ideas for inside and out, experts to ask, things to buy, great ways to brighten up the house, spring time project ideas and fun for the kids.  Ask questions, get advice, tour gardens and load up on plants. If you are in the market for a new home or service and you don’t know where to begin, you will find help at the Carolina Home & Garden Show!

You won’t want to miss “Screen Envy,” interior designer Sally Bentley’s discussion of movie and TV homes. Bentley, owner of Hickory Furniture Mart’s Designing Women, will identify the screen rooms that viewers most want to emulate and point out their dynamic features. She’ll even explain how the sets send subtle messages about the characters.

Children will have the opportunity to meet Curious George at this year's show! There will be storytime for the kids and parents will learn more about the early signs of dyslexia and other reading differences in children.
