As parents and caretakers, we all have one goal in common: to provide our kids with the best childhood possible. We want to fill our children's lives with good times and fun experiences, so that when they look back on their childhood they have an abundance of happy memories. Spring is a great time to take advantage of the opportunity to spend quality moments with your family and create those lasting memories. I've packed this week's newsletter with lots of ideas to help you do just that.
Easter festivities are in full swing and this weekend especially is filled with tons of great events to choose from. Find egg hunts and other holiday fun compiled into one long list and don't miss this weekend's final performances of The Green Room Community Theatre's "The Clockmaker's Child." Check out our fun tricks for an entertaining April Fool's Day and plan ahead to attend the festival rated as #1 for kids by entering to win tickets to LEAF. Get your kids started on the sport of a lifetime with Hickory Parks & Rec's Youth Tennis Program available daily after school and during spring break. I have been reminded over and over during the past few weeks that each moment we have is precious. Living the moment and making the most of every situation is critical to creating magical memories that will last forever.
