Looking for something fun to do with your baby, toddler, or preschooler? Head on over to Hop Hop Hooray on Thursday, March 21 from 10 am-12 noon at Christ Lutheran Church in Hickory. Hop Hop Hooray is a free, spring-themed event for children birth-age 5 years and accompanying adult(s). The Easter Bunny, Spiderman, the Crawdads mascot, and other costumed characters will make appearances.
Sponsored by the Catawba County Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) and PBS Kids/Rootle, Hop Hop Hooray will feature agencies and businesses such as the Catawba County Library System, Hickory Public Library, Stretch-n-Grow, Safe Kids, The Catawba County Partnership for Children, FIPP (Family, Infant and Preschool Program), CDSA, (Children’s Developmental Services Agency), BAYADA, Catawba Science Center, Parents as Teachers, Early Head Start, Head Start, representatives from area school systems, and more. Agencies and businesses will have fun activities for children visiting their tables.
