Macaroni Fun ~ North Pole Breakfast

Introduce your kids to their Elf on the Shelf with this fun new tradition

December 6, 2012

Here's a cute and clever idea I saw on a friend's Facebook page: a North Pole Breakfast to introduce the Elf on the Shelf to your kids for the first time ever or to bring him back each year, thus kicking off the Christmas season.

Menu ideas:

  • snow-covered donuts - powdered sugar donuts
  • snowman kisses - mini-marshmallows or yogurt covered raisins
  • raindeer kisses - chocolate chips or raisins
  • chocolate and cloud toast - Nutella and Fluff on toast
  • snowman soup - hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows
  • Santa kisses - Candy Cane Hershey Kisses
  • candy cane milkshakes - milk with candy cane
  • Santa hats - strawberries dipped top & bottom in powdered sugar
  • peppermint pancakes - pancakes with red food coloring swirl topped with crushed peppermints

Set the table with festive Christmas decor...

Leave a note from Santa...

Capture the smiles as your child enjoys the special breakfast...

Now that the elf is a part of your holiday festivities, what's he been up to each day?  Are you finding your elf in some unique and funny positions in your home?

We want to see your ELF-CAPADES! Email photos of your elf to annah@macaronikid.com along with your elf's name and the pictures will be added to our ELF-CAPADES 2012 photo album on our Facebook page!
