Moms are always searching for nutritious snacks for our kids and if you're like me, it's best if they are easy to grab while on the go. Created by active kids for active kids, Kidz Zone Perfect Bars combine kid-friendly flavors with mom-approved ingredients. They come in 3 kid-created flavors: Yellow Cupcake, Caramel Crunch and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and each bar has 5 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 23 vitamins and minerals. Individually wrapped, they are a great choice for a snack while on the go!
I had my 8 year old daughter sample the bars we received. She's tried other bars in the past and hadn't yet found one she really liked. My daughter tends to go through phases where she has one favorite lunch which she eats every day for weeks at a time, until she grows tired and switches to something else, for a few weeks. First it was home-made lunchables, then hot dogs, then mac and cheese; she didn't take to sandwiches until late in the first grade. In one of my previous attempts to find the next hit for lunch, we tried bars and it didn't last but a day.
She loved the yellow cupcake flavor she tried first. I had a little nibble of it and before I could ask for another bite, it was all gone. She said it tasted "awesome" and wanted to immediately try the other flavors. We spaced it out and in the end, she loved all the flavors. I am happy to have found another healthy snack option to pack for snack-time at school or make a yummy lunch along with some yogurt.
