Walk, jog, and run your way toward a healthier life while raising funds for Lyle Creek Elementary School PTO! Lyle Creek Elementary school in Conover will host the areas first My School Color Run on April 9th, 2016.
The My School Color Run is open to EVERYONE in the community and we encourage you to join us. The event is an untimed fun run. Throughout the course participants will experience color splash zones where they'll be doused in color! All ages are welcome!
The event will be held at the school on C&B Farm Road off Hwy 16 in Conover and will start at 9 AM. Check in time is 8 AM with the run starting at 9 AM. Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for children. Please register by March 28th to participate. Registration includes running/walking, an individual color packet, a race bib, and a t-shirt, but these are only guaranteed if you register by the 28th! Please note that if you register online, there is a fee, so feel free to complete the registration form available on the schools website and return it to the school to complete your registration with no additional fees.
25% of the funds raised will go to support a family in need at our school whose son was just diagnosed with leukemia, 25% will go to help fund our school's backpack program, and the rest of the funds raised will come back to Lyle Creek's PTO to help fund our picnic shelter and technology needs.
