Start your engines! Thomas the Tank Engine is inviting little engineers to come team up with him and his best friend Percy for a day of family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016. Children everywhere can join Team Thomas when the #1 Engine and Percy pull into the N.C. Transportation Museum on September 23 for two weekends, through October 2.
This fun-filled event offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including:
- A 25-minute (approximate) ride with Thomas on the passenger train and Percy on the Caboose Train
- Photo opportunities with Thomas and Percy
- Meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
- A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station featuring a variety of activities.
- Storytelling, video viewing, live music, magic, crafts, games, and more.
The local event takes place Sept. 23-25, Sept. 30, Oct. 1-2, 2016 at the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. The site is open from 9am to 6pm each event day. Departure times for Thomas and Percy begin at 9:15am and the final ride times are 3:45pm on Fridays, 5:15pm on Saturdays and 4:30pm on Sundays. Percy Caboose Train tickets are only available as a combination ticket with your Day Out With Thomas ticket.
