Sketch Art Space is a fine arts studio in Downtown Morganton, offering group and private classes, workshops, open studio time, and summer camps. It's a place where curiosity is sparked, imagination is encouraged and fun is limitless! At Sketch, artists young and old have a chance to explore many different visual art materials and techniques, discover new ways of using them, and experience the sheer joy of the creative process.
Our Summer Creativity Camps offer a great way to keep kids' imagination running all summer long. Budding artists have fun exploring the wonderful world of fine art and dive deep into their own incredible creations. Our program will educate and inspire as mini-makers discover a wide range of supplies and learn impressive art techniques.
Two programs are available for summer 2018: Art Discovery in the mornings and All Things Pottery in the afternoons. Attend just one, or join us for all six camps, as the projects will be varied and learning will often be student-led and differentiated for deeper understanding. Class sizes are kept small to accommodate different ages with projects and techniques modified by age and ability, and a loving and inclusive environment is encouraged and maintained.
