October 15, 2018

The Success Coach Service, in partnership with Caldwell County DSS and The Corinth Adoption Ministry, will host our 4th Annual Adoption Connect, Expect, Reflect Conference. This FREE conference offers an opportunity for foster and adoptive families to hear from some of the nation’s leading adoption experts about the joys and challenges adoption brings. Please join us on November 10th, 2018 at Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory as we welcome several speakers including Charlie Appelstein, author of several books including There’s No Such Thing as a Bad Kid, and Sherrie Eldridge, the author of many books about Adoption, including 20 Things Adoptive Parents Need to Succeed. Join us as we learn, connect and grow through the gift of adoption!

Adoption is a lifelong journey! The Success Coach Service, overseen by Debra Katz, M.A., provides post-adoption services to families residing in Ashe, Alleghany, Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Watauga and Wilkes counties. The Success Coach Services work to strengthen and enhance child well-being by providing support and advocacy to adoptive families. We believe that co-hosting an adoption conference for pre and post-adoptive families is one way to do that. This conference is a way to help adoptive parents in our region have the tools they need to help their children thrive.

Families will also enjoy door prizes, child care for children ages 12 and younger, snacks, breakfast and lunch! The conference is FREE and pre-registration is requested by October 27, 2018. Click here to register. To learn more, please call 828-695-6908.
