The approaching fall season brings many changes: back to school schedules, sports commitments, new friendships, and more. Life's rhythms are visible in the changing leaves of autumn, as the earth prepares for another cycle of rest and renewal. This autumn brings new changes for me as well.
I have been blessed to represent this community over the last eight months as Publisher of Hickory-W Piedmont Macaroni Kid. I have talked with many moms, dads and grandparents who have expressed gratitude for our local edition of Macaroni Kid and the resources it provides. This edition has a long-standing reputation of excellence and service to our area, and it has been an honor to be a small part of its history.
After much deliberation, I have decided to step down as Publisher effective August 31, 2019. It was a hard decision, but ultimately, it will allow me to be more present for my family as we go through new life changes. Thank you to everyone who has supported this business and publication. The National Macaroni Kid Headquarters will be working hard to find an excellent publisher who will continue to bring you the best our area has to offer for families.
This newsletter is the last I will be publishing, and I will be working to close up shop over the next week or so. Blessings to you and your family wherever your journey may take you.
