Welcome, October!
October has always been my favorite month for several reasons: It's my birth month, no explanation needed there. It usually welcomes the return of both the cooler weather and all things Pumpin Spice, and Halloween has always been such a fun Holiday in my family (our kids LOVE to dress up, and they work hard for our -ahem, their- candy on Halloween).
This year will be extra special despite all the crazy- this year marks my 1 YEAR being your Macaroni Kid Hickory/Western Piedmont publisher! Wooo Hooo! I can't believe it's been a year already.

I wish for all of us it had been a year without all the crazy adjustments of going from filling a calendar to marking events canceled, to hiding all the in-person events altogether. We had to get creative over the last 6 months to find all the virtual storytimes, field trips, and printables- virtual events and other ways to help you find ways to entertain, educate and exhaust your kids, but I'm happy to be here to help in any way that I can. Thank you for sticking with us!
