Hickory Ballet and Performing Arts aspires to enrich the cultural landscape through the training, education and art of Classical Ballet and its related art forms. While teaching strong technique and artistry in a nurturing environment, we are dedicated to encouraging students from every economic, and social background, both pre-professional and recreational dancers alike, in order to create a diverse company where all can work together to grow as individuals and collectively as artists and people.
Currently, classes include: Classical Ballet, Pre- Pointe, Pointe, Men’s Class, Pas de Deux, Broadway Repertoire, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Acro, Lyrical, and Pilates. Saturday morning Master Class includes live accompaniment by professional pianists from the area. Qualified instructors teach dancers and performers of all ages, preschoolers through adults.
