Catawba Science Center is offering 13 weeks of hands-on science this summer. Children can attend SciFun Classes from 10:00 AM to Noon, with extended childcare options for mornings and afternoons that offer even more fun. Care is available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and priced independently. See more information below.

Sunrise Science
Morning child care is available for 4-year-olds to rising ninth-graders.
Supervised independent learning experiences, science-related games, and exhibit visits before CSC opens to the public! Drop-off can happen any time before 10:00 AM.

Afternoon Adventures
Afternoon child care available for 1st Grade - 9th Grade
Supervised activities include indoor and outdoor games, scavenger hunts, and themed parties. Enrolled participants may go on field trips to great local attractions: swim at YMCA, movies at Carolina Theatre, take walks at City of Hickory parks, story time at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library (young campers), and bowl at Pin Station (older campers).
