The 2019 Sails Original Music Series returns to Downtown Hickory in May with an exciting new twist. With construction currently taking place on Union Square, the format and location of the series will be modified for May and June. Come out to Trade Alley in the heart of Downtown Hickory for an all-new Sails Music experience and an entire afternoon of original songs. The Sails Music Series is a family-friendly, Hickory-original music experience in downtown. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and enjoy an evening of fellowship with new and old friends and talented musicians performing on The Sails on the Square. Three bands will be featured at each Saturday event. This week's performers are as follows:  2:30 p.m. Arcadian Wild, 5:00 p.m. The Rahm Squad, 7:30 p.m. Selwyn Birchwood.
