Timmy Mac’s Comics and Games is proud to host the Morganton Comic Con at the Collett Street Rec Center on March 4th 2023. Doors will open for attendees at 10:00 am and the convention will wind down around 5:00 pm.
Admission to the show is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (13 and under). Small children (3 and under) get in for free.
The main entrance is upstairs in the gym, and that is where you pay for admission. You can enter downstairs first if you have exact change. Credit card and people needing change will need to enter upstairs first. There are additional vendors and artists downstairs. We have 90 tables upstairs and 50 downstairs. refreshments and food will be located downstairs.
We will have some of the best comic book dealers in the Southeast attending so there will be plenty of selection. There will also be a great selection of Funko, toys, games, anime, and other collectibles. Some attendees will be dressed up as your favorite characters from comics, movies, and TV shows. Feel free to attend in your favorite costume and take part in the costume contest. There will also be professional cosplayers on hand from the Ultimate Experience, the 501st Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, and Star Trek Independent Fleet.
There will be life-sized replicas of Yoda and Groot.
There will be several artists attending. Come by and browse their prints and get an autograph. You can get an original sketch or a copy of a sketch from artists on hand. Some of the artists include Gregbo Watson, Stacey Flemming, and several local artists.
The Ultimate Experience team will be entertaining attendees and running the costume contest. There will be lots to see and lots of photo opportunities so have your phones ready. It will be a fun-filled day for the entire family so wing by for a good time!
