Apple picking is a fantastic fall activity for families - visiting the orchard, breathing in the crisp air, and enjoying the time together. Apples are a favorite fruit of many and are one of the easiest fruits to pick and use. And apple picking is a seasonal tradition; there's nothing that says fall like that first bite from a crisp and juicy apple just picked from the orchard. Alexander County ranks #4 in the state for apple production!
