I had the pleasure of spending last weekend with nearly 100 Macaroni Kid publishers from around the country. Our annual #MKMeetUp was held this year at the beautiful JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and gave us an opportunity to connect, refresh, network, learn and rejuvenate. It was all that and more! I was recognized as one of only a dozen MacKid sites with over ONE MILLION page views, a milestone we surpassed this past May and one that would not have been possible without you all! So a huge THANKS to YOU for checking out the calendar, looking at the website and being a part of the Mac Kid community... and giving me the opportunity to do what I love!
I wrote last week about the perfect autumn day, worried I was going to miss the peak weekend for fall foliage. As soon as I returned, I grabbed my husband for a day date and we headed up the mountain for some leaf peeping. It was truly spectacular! Fall colors are peaking now at elevations between 2,000 - 3,000 feet so plan your foliage tour before it's too late!
