Hilarious New Card Game, Just for Moms

Moms are SUPER busy. We take care of everyone and often forget how important it is to take care of ourselves. Over the last two years, I've come to realize that self-care for me is spending some time unwinding with my friends. Do you ever feel like you haven't seen your bestie in months? Plan a game night! Get some help with the kids, grab your favorite shareable snack and drink of choice, and invite your mom friends over. Trust me, they need it just as much as you do.

If you need an idea for a fun game to play, I totally got you covered. Meet the brand new #MomTruthsGame from #CatandNat. You know those two pretty, blonde ladies you see all over Facebook? Yep, they're the ones responsible for this awesome new game. It's completely mom-related, and it's really fun to play.

Here's how it works: The game comes with two types of color-coordinating cards. Shuffle and deal out the pink cards (5 per person). Take turns drawing and reading a purple card aloud. Each mom will pick from the cards in her hand to complete the statement on the purple card. Then the "it" person reads the full sentence, out loud, and choose which hand wins. The winner keeps the purple card, and the mom with the most at the end of the game wins. The goal is to throw down the card that gets the biggest reaction; most of the time that's laughter, but sometimes it was an old-school "Oooooooo!" or a That-70's-Show style "Burn!"

Sometimes you use one card, sometimes you use two, and sometimes you get to make up your own answer. You can write directly on the card, but I like to have a post-it note pad handy, so we can make them up again and again. (If you're really into it, you could even add a square of packaging tape to the blank cards, and use a wet-erase marker). I will say it helps to know who you're playing with, but it's also a great way to GET to know someone.  I think one of my favorite parts of this game is how it causes you to recall these crazy moments you forgot about; funny things your child has said, or silly mistakes you've made that looking back make you and all your friends laugh. Wait, whose turn is it?

You can get this fun game online at https://www.momtruthsgame.com (by the way, it's on sale right now!).
